Ready, Set, Go for the Great Barrier Reef Marathon Festival!
Work up a sweat for a great cause! Support a sporting activity geared towards the preservation of the iconic Great Barrier Reef. Get your running mates excited for the Tropical Journeys Great Barrier Reef Marathon Festival on November 6th, 2016 from 4 AM to 2 PM at Port Douglas, Queensland.
Register for just $35 and you get to donate to the Run for the Great Barrier Reef Fund. Be part of this epic marathon event, which will be led by legend Steve Moneghetti. Participants coming from all over the world can run the 74-km JCU Ultra Marathon, the 42-km or the 21-km half marathon, along the scenic, fringing reefs and through the breathtaking rainforest.
To make sure that the festival provide people ample activities that are suited for different ages and abilities, there are shorter races such as the 10-km, the 5-km and a 2.5-km Junior Race.
