Spend Your Christmas Carolling in Cairns!
From December 1 expect the beautiful coastal city of Cairns to be in full Christmas spirit after the lighting of tree at the Esplanade Plaza. Once the Christmas tree is lit, throughout December you can experience a Christmas like never before as a variety of festive events and celebrations take over Cairns. For lovers of carol singing over Christmas, there’s no better place to be in Far North Queensland than Cairns!
On December 6 make sure to be at the Edmonton Community Carols by Candlelight at Ravizza Park. Completing its 27th annual event this year it’s going to be even more exciting! Come along for carol singing, live entertainment, good food, and a fun visit from Santa Claus.
Gordonvale Carols in the Park offers more carol singing on December 8 at Norman Park, just outside the Cairns CBD. There will also be market stalls and plenty of food on offer - come along to grab some last minute gifts and souvenirs!
The fun doesn’t stop there! On December 9 head to Xavier Herbert Park for the Redlynch Christmas Festival, an incredible evening for families with kids. Enjoy a festive procession parade as well as amusements and activities, lots of food choices, and the chance for kids to meet Santa Claus. Of course, there will also be carol singing! Make sure to be there on December 9 from 4 pm.
For carolling and fireworks at the same time, don’t miss Community by Carols on December 10! Taking place at Fogarty Park, Community by Carols is the biggest community Christmas event in Cairns, and the festive atmosphere is like no other.
Keep the festivities going as Christmas Day gets close with Holloways Beach Carols by Candlelight. As well as carolling, expect a unique arrival of Santa Claus on motorbike! Just head to Holloways Beach on December 16.
